Wow Thanksgiving is just aroud the corner! Can you believe the year has gone by so fast?! Well I am celebrating my first year open. Whoop whoop! And what a great year its been. Thank you to all my wonderful clients. It's only because of you that I am able to do what I love, you're great!

Suite 17

For those of you who haven't heard, I am in a new room! And I am SUPER excited about it. I am still in the same building just a different suite, suite 17. I share the room with Krista, but we work opposite days.

I made the move so you and I could have a more personal appointment. Meaning there won't be a TON of people in the room while you get your hair done. I will be more quiet and more relaxing while you are here. =)

I know its been awhile since my last post. Things have been CRAZY busy! But thats waht we all want, right?! So here are some updates:

~I had my baby boy on July 1, 2009. He was 7lbs 12 oz 21in long. He is so sweet and a great addition to our family. We are so excited that he is finally here.

~Recovery has been great and I am back at work.

~We are trying to get rid of the rest of our Pureology products, so they are SUPER discounted. ~Come check out what we have and snatch it up while you can.

~Jeanne got in some new Coach inspired purses and they are WAY cute.

Summer is almost over, WAHOO! Enjoy what you can, stay hydrated, and keep cool. And remember its always cold in the salon.

OK so I don't know about you, but I will check out other peoples blogs from time to time. It's usually people I know but on the RARE occasion that I get some extra time on the computer I will check out blogs of people I don't know... I blog stalk every now and then =) I'm just kidding, I'm not crazy weird about it. But a friend told me about this blog that talks about hairstyles for little girls and fun things to do to their hair. So I checked it out, and there were some way cute styles, plus there are links to other blogs with different styles. So for all of you who have little girls and want to try something cute and easy but don't know what, here you go!

SPRING BREAK

WAHOO! Spring Break is here! It's the perfect time to bring the kids in for their haircuts. I will have openings Monday-Saturday during the 2 week break. The only exception will be Saturday March 21st, my birthday.

So, I know things are getting tight, financially. But PLEASE please do not resort to box color! I am begging you, no box color. It's really bad for your hair, hard on my scissors, and it rarely if ever turns out the color that is in the box. Before you turn to the box CALL ME, we can work something out that will fit your budget.

And remember, every friend you send to me gets you $10 off cut and/or color, and 5 friends is a free color service!

I am so sorry I have been a major slacker, I havent kept up the blog. I'm sorry. Not much has changed. We are busy at work trying to get our name out there!

We Finally Finished Everything

I feels so great knowing that the only thing that needs to be done in the salon is someones hair! No more building, no more folding 150 towels, no more IKEA! It feels great to just step back and enjoy all the hard work that was put into the salon.

I really have to thank my dad for all the help he gave Jeanne and me. For building and hanging our cabinets, unloading Danny's truck for us, and for coming to pick up random stuff we bought. Thank you to Danny (Jeanne's husband) for letting us borrow his truck and bring stuff to us from the house and setting stuff up for us. And of coarse my wonderful husband for being my support and allowing me to see our space from a different angle, I know you are so busy right now, thank you.

So Designer Image is officially OPEN for business!! Jeanne and I look forward to see all your wonderful smiling faces soon!

Getting set up

This is my new home.

This is where I will get to create new looks for wonderful people!

I am so excited about this move.

So once you walk inside, (the door is behind the tree) and look to the right, that is my room! Suite 1 will now be known as Designer Image.

So far it has been hectic trying to get all of the paperwork done so the salon will be legit. But I will keep everyone posted on the goings on at the salon.

My next project is getting my husband over to the salon to put all my furniture together. EXCITING!
